About Us

Our mission is to provide physical and occupational therapy services for the residents of our local area. We are committed to providing services in a professional manner in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Augusta Physical Therapy, PC is a professional corporation, owned by Alan S. Reitz, PT and Robin H. Graves, MPT. Our staff is licensed and regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current.

Alan Scott Reitz, PT opened Augusta Physical Therapy in June of 1998. Alan practiced in New York City and Richmond Virginia before moving to Staunton in 1981. He then served at the Virginia Rehabilitation Agency until 1996, working in outpatient orthopedics, home health, hospital, and rehabilitation settings. He directed rehabilitation services at a local nursing facility from 1996 to 1998.

Alan received his degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in upstate New York in 1979. Alan is from Berkshire County, Massachusetts and makes his home in Augusta County with his wife Clara, their two Siamese cats, Sasha and Ginger, and their two Foxhounds, Merry and Pippin.
